What is forró?

Forró is a partner dance born in the northeast of Brazil. It is danced close, in a soft embrace full of connection, and its music —accordion, zabumba and triangle— makes it joyful and easy to follow.

No experience or partner needed. Our classes start from scratch, and at the parties there is always someone happy to show you your first step.
